Harleen is a caring and passionate Occupational Therapist with experience within the NDIS and internationally. She graduated from Curtin University with First Class Honours. Within the NDIS space she has worked in the community with people of all ages, across metropolitan Perth and the Shire of Gingin. She also spent time abroad in London working in community and school-based paediatrics, with neurodivergent and complex physical needs children.
Harleen is passionate about play-based learning and believes that the basis of skill development derives from children having fun and learning organically. Her other areas of interest include neuroaffirming practice, eating and feeding, social skills, equipment prescription, and life skills development.
Harleen’s approach is holistic and compassionate, with a focus on person-centred care. Dedicated to fostering confidence and independence, Harleen works closely with clients and their families throughout the whole process.
