Niah Panton is a third-year Occupational Therapy student at Curtin University, with a strong passion for paediatrics. She is studying part-time and is set to graduate in 2026.
Niah discovered Occupational Therapy after studying Exercise and Sports Science at Notre Dame for a year. She was immediately captivated by the diverse opportunities within the field and its philosophy of using meaningful activities to enhance overall well-being. With experience in aged care, disability services, soft-tissue OT, and paediatrics, Niah is excited about her future in the health sector. She dreams of completing rural placements and potentially moving abroad to continue her work and learning overseas.
Niah is also a fitness enthusiast, enjoying running, Pilates, yoga, swimming, and hiking. This year, she completed a half-marathon and participated in a team triathlon, contributing as the swimmer. She is eager to work with clients and their families, and expand her knowledge of the NDIS and community paediatrics. Niah approaches every interaction—whether in person, over the phone, or by email—with a friendly and thoughtful attitude.
